5 days per week our Emergency Food Service assists people in desperate situations with a food package and/or vouchers for electricity, water, gas or Telstra bills. In the past 12 months WestCare has supported over 6,000 people through this service and gave away over $100,000 worth of vouchers.

Christmas Packs
Through financial & emotional challenges of the Christmas season we bring relief through generosity. During this time we give away approximately $10,000 worth of food, toys and daily essential necessities.

Donating Goods
We Do require more donations of both clothing and small household goods, so if you have items that you wish to donate please drop them in to our store. All items must be in good condition.

Through one on one appointments and group workshops people learn the skill of home budgeting. This helps them to avoid life's unforeseen challenges. We also provide assistance with the filling out of forms and applications.
Whether it is mothers in prenatal or postnatal emergencies in hospital, men in emergency accommodation, women on parole, or families struggling in the area, these packs contain toiletries and basic daily essentials.
SpecialCare
Supplying one family per year with a small grant to purchase specialised equipment for a disabled child.
Life Keys
Assisting young male offenders with basic literacy, numeracy and life skills through our local Juvenile Justice Centre.
Seniors Connect
Interactive workshops for seniors to take the fear out of technology. We keep seniors connected with family and friends by providing training on their mobile phones and the internet.
Correctional Care
These are classes for local women at Bolwara Transition Centre and Boronia COSP, retraining them with life skills to help them understand themselves, make educated choices and discover new talents and hobbies.

Our Chaplaincy Services brings Christian care to people who are facing deeply distressing and traumatic situations. Call the office to make an appointment with our Chaplain.
